Alocasia Bambino - 4"
Botanical Name: Alocasia amazonica bambino
***Available for local pickup only!!***
The Alocasia bambino - also known as the Jewel Alocasia - shares many traits with the Alocasia Polly, but is slightly smaller with narrower leaves. Like all Alocasia plants, the Bambino variety are truly tropical - they appreciate lots of warmth, humidity, and water. They also share their beautiful foliage with their cousins - glossy, dark green spade-shaped leaves with striking light veins. Notably finicky, once you can successfully replicate their ideal tropical environment they are fast and aggressive growers, going dormant in cooler months. High humidity is a must, whether achieved through humidifier, frequent misting, pebble tray, and/or grouping with other plants.
Toxic to pets.
Light: Bright light, but no direct sun.
Water: Keep soil moist spring through fall when plant is actively growing. Water sparingly in winter, allowing soil to become almost dry between waterings.
