Philodendron Pink Princess
Botanical name: Philodendron erubescens var.
The charming contrast between the dark green and hot pink colors, within the same leaf, makes the Philodendron Pink Princess truly a royal plant to grow in your home. The Pink Princess has become one of the hottest trending plants.
Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light. While the dark green colored areas of Philodendron Pink Princess foliage are densely filled with chlorophyll, the pink areas are entirely devoid of it. This means a variegated Philodendron plant, such as the Pink Princess, will require more light than its non-variegated counterparts to produce the same amount of food.
Water: As a general rule, only water your plant when the top 1” to 2” has dried out. When you water, pour water in the pot until it drains out the bottom. This type of watering technique ensures the plant roots get enough nourishment, and the pink leaves grow healthy. Water your Philodendron as often as it needs when the soil is partly dry.
